Finding time

This week it has been a struggle to find time each day to meet up with the group and work due to our not so smart school schedule. Nearly everyday we have lessons at different times of the day. Which means we also start and end at different times.

One example of this could be I might start at 10 and end 12. While the programmers start at 13 and end at 14. And it goes on like that, but for the graphic students and designer students aswell. There is nothing really we can do about it but to adapt.

Before we had it easier, it has been this latest course that has complicated things. We used to meet up around four times a week last course. Now perhaps only two or three if lucky.

It makes it harder to work and the solution for now is to either meet very early in the morning or staying at school late. We have been forced to have our sprint planning on tuesdays instead of mondays because there simply isn't any room to do it on mondays anymore. It is kind of weird because I think everyone would prefer to have it on a monday instead of a tuesday, as you lose one day of the week that you could have worked with, officially. You can always look up the backlogg and pick something you know is important and has to be done.

Here you can see this weeks schedule. The days we could meet were basically Tuesday, 30 minutes before my lesson begun so that we could have our sprint plan. Then wednesday and Thursday. But Thursday had to go because the programmers have so much to do in math so that they felt like they had to focus on that, which makes sense.

This week was even one of the better weeks, there has been cases when the programmers had two math lessons in one day, making it even harder for us to meet up and work.

I hope that until next course, or atleast next year, this will have been fixed and done so that it goes with a good flow and that everyone schedules are similar.
